At POP! you’ll find great medical education, networking, and community service, as well as energetic workshops, career guidance, keynotes, and the Residency Recruitment Fair, to make it one conference you won't want to miss! The 2026 & 2027 POP events will be held in coordination with CAFP, the CAFP Foundation and the San Diego AFP at Paradise Point Resort & Hotel in San Diego, CA.

What cutting-edge knowledge or confidence do family docs need to gain? We invite CAFP members to submit a proposal below for a 20-minute main stage presentation. Every submission will receive a response.
Submission Deadline: March 15, 2026
CAFP is developing ways for you to jump into engagement and educational opportunities beyond POP! These opportunities may include educational activities online, discussion topics on the CAFP 365 app, or POP Quizzes on social media. We know POP is an incredible educational event, as well as the perfect time to connect with current and future family physicians from across the state. We also know that sometimes you can't attend POP!, and we want everyone to be able to benefit from the stellar event POP has become. We hope these opportunities provide a way to keep that going throughout the year and beyond POP!
You’re invited to tap into the vital ideas and practice strategies that our speakers shared at POP! Engage and learn from a broad range of topics - from heart failure to adolescent mental health, from the “4th trimester” to wildfire health impacts. Explore slide decks, Q&As and take a POP Quiz while you’re at it. And if you have questions for our speakers, it’s not too late to ask.
