2 Minutes, 2 Slides, 2 Questions

The 2 Minutes, 2 Slides, 2 Questions session for the SDAFP/CAFP POP! is an energetic, fun, and more informal session on the opening day that is always highly rated by the attendees.

Date: Friday August 21
Time: 11:45am
Location: Paradise Point, San Diego CA

We are looking for medical students, resident physicians, and attending physicians to present an interesting case, clinical pearl, topic, really anything related to Family Medicine, but there are rules as the session title implies.
  1. Only 2 minutes are allowed for the entire presentation (and it’s totally OK to be under time) and
  2. Only 2 slides can be used.
It’s amazing, however, how much information can be presented in 2 minutes. If the presenter is still talking at the 2-minute mark, they will be cut off by an alarm, but it’s always well received. After the presentation, the presenter will then field 2 questions from the audience. We will have cases presented one right after the other, so it’s fast paced, and the number rule from the moderator is that we make it FUN!

Application Process:
The online application must be submitted by 5/30/2026. Any applications received after this date, OR incomplete applications, will not be considered.
