2022 All Member Advocacy Meeting

CAFP's All Member Advocacy Meeting (AMAM) is your chance to make change in health care policy! At the AMAM, you’ll hear from policy and political experts, get hands on experience advocating for issues important to family medicine, network with advocacy-oriented colleagues, and meet with your legislators! From improving public health to increasing primary care payment, learn how YOU can be the change you want to see in the health care policy world.

Keynote Speaker

For over twenty years, Mike Madrid has been changing the outcomes of political campaigns throughout the country. He is most recently known for co-founding the influential national movement, the Lincoln Project. Madrid is a veteran Latino voting trends expert. His active involvement in local, state, and federal races has helped him to develop a keen insight into the successful characteristics of winning campaigns.

Virtual Lobby Days — March 15-17, 2022

Due to legislators’ concerns about Omicron and the construction at the Capitol, many legislators are not having in-person meetings. As a result, we have made the difficult decision to make lobby day virtual again this year. Lobby day will now take place on Tuesday, March 15 – Thursday, March 17 through virtual visits with your legislator or their staff.
