The American Academy of Family Physicians held elections for its board of directors this week at its annual Congress of Delegates, the organization’s governing body. Members of the board of directors advocate on behalf of family physicians and patients nationwide to inspire positive change in the U.S. health care system. The Congress elected new officers and three members to serve on the Board of Directors for the following 12 months.
Congratulations to Jay W. Lee, MD, MPH, FAAFP for his election to the @the_aafp Board of Directors! CAFP is thrilled for Dr. Lee. He has shown that family medicine is, and should always be the core of our primary health care system. Dr. Lee was elected to three-year term as member of the board of directors.
