Program Highlights and/or Unique Curriculum Components (i.e. Fellowship Opportunities):
We are an unopposed 8-8-8 Family Medicine program in the heart of the South Bay Area. On call we cover all areas of the hospital: medicine, pediatrics, ICU, and Labor and Delivery. In 2017, our program integrated with Stanford Health Care and now affords our trainees the unique opportunity to train at a thriving county-owned community hospital while accessing the educational resources of a world-renowned health system. We have established Integrative Medicine and Faculty Development pathways, in addition to a Sports Medicine Fellowship that enhances the training and experience of our residents.

Our mission is to prepare outstanding family medicine physicians who can thrive in any practice setting. To accomplish this, we provide a collaborative, supportive environment; innovative educational methods; a strong, diverse faculty; and a commitment to the underserved.
