Program Highlights and/or Unique Curriculum Components (i.e. Fellowship Opportunities):
We are a brand new Family Medicine Residency Program establishing ourselves in the Greater Sacramento Valley. Our first class of residents will have the unique and challenging opportunity to help us shape this program and build our culture.
Our team is compiled of enthusiastic and dedicated faculty members. We are passionate about LGBTQ, Community Health, Equity/Inclusion and Empathy, Procedures, and Sports Medicine.
The Greater Sacramento Valley is home to a thriving arts and music culture, more than 32 miles of bike paths, two major rivers and 50 farmers markets. It is a friendly, affordable place to live.
You will get full spectrum, excellent training in our program with a team of faculty and staff that are focused on mentorship, collaboration and support; all of this in an area where you can enjoy white water rafter on the American River, snow skiing at Lake Tahoe, hiking in Yosemite National Park and wine tasting in Napa Valley.
