Congratulations to the newly-elected AFMRD Board Members! Those elected will begin their terms immediately following the AFMRD Annual Meeting on March 4, 2023. Newly-elected Member-at-Large Director is CAFP member, Parastou Farhadian, MD, CPE, FAAFP. Dr. Farhadian has been elected to a three-year term.
Parastou Farhadian, MD, CPE, FAAFP is the founding Program Director for Mission Community Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program in Panorama City, CA. Before joining Mission Community Hospital in 2022, Dr. Farhadian served seven years as the Program Director for the RUHS/UCR Family Medicine Residency Program in Moreno Valley, CA. She graduated from the RUHS/UCR Family Medicine Residency Program in 2010. A member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Farhadian is also a graduate of the prestigious California Health Care Foundation (CHCF) fellowship with University of California, San Francisco. She received a Certified Physician Executive degree from the American Association for Physician Leadership. Outside of work, Dr. Farhadian enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.
