A new collaboration between the CAFP , AAFP and Project N95 will help family physicians secure personal protective equipment — even in hard-to-find small quantities — during a limited-time opportunity beginning later this month.
Start planning now for the opportunity, which will be open from Aug. 24 through Sept. 2. All CAFP members (including students and residents) will be able to purchase items such as N95 masks, gowns and face shields. Orders must be shipped within the United States.
This collaboration with the not-for-profit organization Project N95(www.projectn95.org) is part of the Academy’s ongoing work to empower family physicians to continue their work as the foundation of America’s health care system during the COVID-19 pandemic. Helping family physicians secure PPE has been a crucial part of the AAFP’s government and private-sector advocacy from the beginning of the pandemic.
Look for an email from the AAFP on Aug. 24 with a link to this members-only opportunity.
