The National Conference of Constituency Leaders (NCCL) is the AAFP’s leadership development event that empowers a select group of change makers to catalyze positive change in family medicine. NCCL will inspire you to build on your leadership skills and create a lasting impact for current and future generations of family physicians.
CAFP will once again send a full delegation to NCCL, consisting of one Delegate and one Alternate from each of the five member constituencies (Women, Minorities, New physicians, International medical graduates, and LGBTQ+ physicians or physician allies) to represent our state.
The application process for Delegates and Alternates will be executed at the same time as committee applications this year. Applicants should complete the same Member Engagement Form to apply, and submit their application by January 16. NCCL Delegates and Alternates will be selected and notified in January, to ensure sufficient time to plan for attending NCCL April 18-20, 2024 in Kansas City. Please note as you consider applying that this is the week following CAFP’s own All Member Advocacy Meeting (AMAM) which is scheduled April 13-14 in Sacramento.
