Registration for California Academy of Family Physicians’ All Member Advocacy Meeting (AMAM) will be opening in December. AMAM is one of CAFP’s most popular events. The 2024 All Member Advocacy Meeting will be in Sacramento on Saturday and Sunday, April 13-14, 2024 with Lobby Day on Monday, April 15, 2024. Mark your calendars now!
Until registration is live, there are a few key things to do and a few important deadlines to be aware of:
Consider submitting a resolution
The deadline for submitting resolutions for the 2024 AMAM is Monday, February 12th. Check out our website or our comprehensive guide to submitting a resolution. Also, check with your local chapter to see if they are coordinating any resolutions writing activities. The resolution process is at the heart of how our state and national policy is made.
Sign up to serve as a delegate
All local chapters receive a representative number of delegates and alternate delegates to AMAM. Delegates vote for new CAFP officers, and on changes to CAFP bylaws and dues. Let your chapter leader know if you are interested in serving. The deadline for finalizing delegations is also Monday, February 12th.
Are you a member of a chapter without current leadership? Email your interest to cafp@familydocs.org and we will help coordinate with your district director.
