To help ease the administrative burden family physicians regularly see in practice, the AAFP Innovation Lab is offering two free pilot programs using tools based on artificial intelligence (AI).
Suki,(suki.ai) an AI-powered digital assistant, allows physicians to minimize documentation/charting time; Navina collects and presents key data to minimize the amount of time spent on chart review.
Suki is in the second phase of its pilot after showing it substantially cuts charting time by responding to natural voice commands to display information or create patient notes and syncing with the practice’s EHR. This is the first pilot for Navina(navina.ai), which integrates with the practice’s EHR and automates data aggregation and analysis to create a comprehensive patient portrait for physician review. Not only can this tool save time, it also helps ensure that no relevant information is missed.
