We are now accepting Council applications for the 2021-22 academic year. The Council is the official student-resident voice of the Academy. By bringing students and residents together, the council promotes the exchange of ideas, builds leadership skills, pursues transformational advocacy and enriches California’s primary care workforce with a strong family medicine pipeline.
CAFP represents more than 3,000 student and resident members combined and serves as a resource hub for 14 medical schools and more than 70 family medicine residency programs. To overcome California's geographical size, the councils exist to facilitate communication across the state, increase teamwork among all programs, and establish lasting relationships between family medicine leaders. Please complete the following application if you are interested in becoming a member of the CAFP Student-Resident Council.
