Congratulations to Jorge Galdamez, MD, the new District II Director on CAFP’s Board of Directors. Jorge was elected at the December meeting of CAFP’s Orange County Chapter and assumes his duties immediately as their Board representative.
Excited to serve and lead, Dr. Galdamez comes with leadership experience both at the clinic level as well as with CAFP. As a physician, he previously served five years as a Site Medical Director for Altamed Health Services Corporation and recently joined St Jude Heritage Medical Group, where he hopes to further utilize his leadership skills. In addition to his clinic leadership, Dr. Galdamez served on the Board of Directors of the Orange County Chapter of CAFP for the past three years and as Chapter President for 2019. His clinical interests include obesity, diabetes, and sports medicine. He lives in Irvine, California and has two children with whom he enjoys spending time. For recreation, he enjoys running and has completed several triathlons, including two Ironman triathlons. His inspiration to serve comes from his life goal of trying to help and serve as many patients as he can directly as a clinician and indirectly as a physician leader advocating for his patients and better health.
Welcome, and thank you Dr. Galdamez!
