Summit Featured Session: Healthy Boundaries (Speaker Bright Zhou, MD)

What does it mean to set boundaries in medical school and residency? Join us at the Summit as we sit down with Dr. Bright Zhou - a passionate advocate for creating systems change in academic medicine that promotes wellness. This session will prepare you for the transition from medical student to intern year, which is often tasked with new responsibilities without explicitly stated expectations. Unclear expectations can lead to increased burn-out and feelings of being excluded, particularly for marginalized individuals. This workshop explores strategies for setting boundaries, and preserving identities outside of medicine for residents.

• Learn to articulate primary learning objectives for residency, as well as preferred learning styles.
• Develop learners Bill of Rights as interns and residents.
• Identify resources hosted by CAFP and other organizations to support learners boundaries
