Join CAFP on March 16th, 6:30 - 7:30pm. We all serve patients that have experienced trauma and toxic stress. Many times, these are the more complex patients with intractable issues. These challenges can cause us to question our effectiveness as physicians, increase patient dissatisfaction, increase provider stress, and decrease wellbeing for staff. All of our patients are better served by understanding that past experiences may be at the root of current health issues. Join your peers and three leading experts, to learn more about trauma-informed care principles that can enhance the physician-patient alliance, make your practice of medicine more effective, and support the well-being of your staff.
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

The AAFP has reviewed Key Insights into a Trauma-Informed Approach to Care and deemed it acceptable for up to 1.00 Live AAFP Prescribed credits. Term of Approval is from 03/16/2022 to 03/16/2022. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.
