CAFP President, Alex McDonald, MD, FAAFP, is a social media advocate, early adopter, and AAFP social media ambassador. He is a trusted voice for family medicine and works to raise the profile of family medicine in all media. Dr. McDonald co-founded the #ThisIsOurShot campaign during the COVID pandemic to help build vaccine trust and empower doctors, clinicians, nurses, and health care staff to spread accurate information in their communities.
