2022 All Member Advocacy Meeting

It’s already time to start planning for our 2022 All Member Advocacy Meeting (AMAM) and Lobby Day, March 12-14, 2022, at The Sheraton Grand hotel in Sacramento.  One of the first things to think about for AMAM are resolutions.  Resolutions are a way for members to engage in CAFP's policy-making process.  CAFP policies articulate the positions, values, beliefs, and/or priorities of CAFP membership.  CAFP policies also guide CAFP staff and the Board in the positions it takes on proposed legislation, regulations, initiatives, amicus briefs, and the specific work it undertakes, including educational efforts.

The deadline to submit resolutions is Monday, January 10, 2022.  Though resolutions can be submitted at any time throughout the year, resolutions submitted by this deadline will be added to the AMAM agenda.  At AMAM, authors of resolutions have the opportunity to present their resolution to AMAM delegates and the CAFP Board, and the CAFP Board will have the opportunity to hear testimony from AMAM delegates.  Members can submit resolutions through CAFP's online form.  You can also find a guide to submitting resolutions on CAFP's website.
