Congratulations to this year’s Family Medicine Advocate of the year, Dr. David Tran, MD. Dr. Tran is recognized for his career-long dedication to palliative care, medical education, and health equity. A graduate of UC Irvine and Long Beach Memorial, he has held numerous leadership roles with AAFP and CMA, consistently advocating for vulnerable populations and complex systems of care. Our immediate past president Dr. Anthony Chong presented the award to Dr. Tran at AMAM this weekend and the CAFP celebrated Dr. Tran’s clinical excellence and compassionate mentorship.
