CAFP Launches 8-Hour SUD CME to Meet MATE Act Requirements

CAFP assembled 8 hours of excellent, accredited substance use disorder education into a simple package to help family physicians meet training requirements of the 2023 MATE (Medication Access and Training Expansion) Act. In this engaging set of activities, addiction specialists address stigma in context, prescribing medication for opioid use disorder, pain management, patient and family communication, pain and addiction in young athletes, and the family physician’s role in treating SUD. See SAMHSA Recommendations for more details on new MATE Act requirements.
