More about Jay W. Lee, MD, MPH, FAAFP

Candidate Statement

My name is Jay W. Lee, MD, MPH, FAAFP and I am honored to be a candidate for the AAFP Board of Directors.

Family medicine must rise up. Not only must we become the physicians we wrote about in our personal statements, we must become the leaders our communities and our nation needs us to be. We must continue to build escape velocity from the gravitational pull of the pandemic, one that has shown just how broken our healthcare system is and just how right family medicine is to heal the brokenness.

Our work is gritty. Our work is essential. Our work is family medicine and I am ready to represent you as we build the future together.
