Family Medicine Revolution
With the help of the CAFP Foundation, Family Medicine revolution (#FMRevolution) hopes to increase awareness and respect for family medicine.
Every year, the CAFP Foundation sponsors California medical students to attend AAFP's National Conference for Medical Students and Family Medicine Residents.
CAFP Foundation Scholars Program
This longitudinal program is for 20 first-year medical students with a strong interest in family medicine and primary care.
The Student and Resident Councils have adopted the theme of Building Bridges to stress the importance of facilitating communication, increasing teamwork, and establishing lasting relationships between family medicine leaders.
Medical Student Research Grant Program
The Student Research Grant Program gives students the opportunity to work with a practicing or academic family physician to conduct clinical or educational research.
Future Faces of Family Medicine
The Future Faces of Family Medicine (FFFM) mentorship program is a partnership between the CAFP Foundation and local residency programs to address primary care workforce issues.
