This interactive web site offers current information for attendees using any of the area's major public transportation systems such as Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), San Francisco Muni and Caltrain. Information is also available for Amtrak Capital Corridor and regional services.

We have compiled schedules and direction information for each major public transit provider, with links to their Web sites for further information.

Caltrain

Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART)
BART services travelers from both the San Francisco and Oakland Airports for less than $15 round trip.

From San Francisco International Airport (SFO):  Take the airport's free AirTrain Red Line from your domestic flight to BART or walk to BART following the signs to the International terminal. Take the Dublin/Pleasanton-bound BART train to Powell Station. The hotel is only 1- 2 blocks from the Powell Street Station.

To SFO - From any downtown San Francisco BART station:  Take the Millbrae/SFO train to the airport and take AirTrain. To take the AirTrain shuttle to your flight, turn to your right as you exit the BART train and proceed up the stairs, escalator, or elevator to the next floor where you can catch the AirTrain Red Line to the domestic terminal. All domestic flights are approximately a five to ten-minute AirTrain ride from the BART station.

Oakland International Airport (OAK)

AirBART is a convenient shuttle bus that links the Coliseum/Oakland Airport BART Station and Oakland International Airport every 10-20 minutes The AirBART shuttle trip takes 15 to 30 minutes depending upon traffic. Fares for AirBART are $3 each way for an adult and $1 for children (12 and under), seniors (65 and over) and disabled. AirBART fare is payable in cash or a $3 BART ticket from a regular ticket machine in the BART station. Exact fare is required and drivers do not make change.

SAVINGS TIP - You can also purchase the BART Travel Pack for AirBART online. It includes (2) $3 BART tickets for AirBART and one $6.30 BART ticket to ride BART to downtown San Francisco and back from Coliseum/Oakland Airport BART station. For additional travel, you can easily add value to your ticket at numerous in-station machines, so you can use the $6.30 ticket throughout the system by adding fare value if necessary.

San Francisco Municipal Railway (MUNI)
San Francisco's MUNI bus and train system operates 80 routes throughout the city, with convenient stops located within two blocks of most residences and businesses.
