CAFP has led the way among medical organizations in California in advocating for elimination of health care disparities through improved language access and cultural responsiveness in medical practice. CAFP convenes The California Endowment’s Medical Leadership Council on Cultural Proficiency, a large group of medical organizations endeavoring to resolve disparity issues resulting from language access and other issues.
