Social Media

Social media uses web-based technologies to turn communication into interactive dialogues. CAFP has jumped into social media to interact better with members, keeping them informed with the latest news and updates, and to help members communicate with each other. Using social media to stay connected with CAFP helps members receive updates faster than ever. Check out the different CAFP outlets below.
Twitter: Twitter is a social networking and microblogging service, enabling users to send and read other users' messages called tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the user's profile page. CAFP uses Twitter to provide information quickly and easily. Follow us @cafp_familydocs.
Facebook: Facebook users can create a personal profile, add other users as friends and exchange messages, including automatic notifications when they update their profile. CAFP is on Facebook to provide automatic notifications on events or other happenings in family medicine. Click here to find CAFP on Facebook.
Flickr: CAFP uses Flickr, an image and video hosting site, to share photos from member and chapter events. Click here to see where CAFP has been on Flickr.
YouTube: Subscribe to CAFP's YouTube page here to view short videos published by the Academy.
