CMA Foundation Multicultural Patient Education Materials Database
The CMA Foundation presents a searchable database of culturally and linguistically appropriate patient education materials covering topics related to diabetes from expert sources. This database contains information in 25 different languages, covering a variety of topics and information.
Diabetes Information Resource Center (DIRC)
DIRC is a project of the California Diabetes Program. The website provides a range of information on diabetes, including patient education materials shared by organizations throughout the state.
National Diabetes Education Program (NDEP)
NDEP is a partnership of the National Institutes of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and more than 200 public and private organizations. The site includes materials in multiple languages, and addresses topics such diabetes control and prevention.
Familydoctor.org
Developed by the American Academy of Family Physicians, familydoctor.org provides information and help targeted to patients and their families. All of the information has been written and reviewed by physicians and patient education professionals.

National Committee on Quality Assurance
The Diabetes Physician Recognition Program, awards recognition to physicians who demonstrate that they provide high quality care to patients with diabetes. NCQA also provides a range of measures related to chronic disease.
Institute for Healthcare Improvement
Provides disease-specific measures, forms used in office redesign, change packages, and other "improvement" materials.
Clinical Issues in Diabetes Care
Diabetes Care
The journal of the American Diabetes Association publishes articles in the following categories: 1) Clinical Care/Education/Nutrition; 2) Epidemiology/Health Services/Psychosocial Research; 3) Emerging Treatments and Technologies; 4) Pathophysiology/Complications; and 5) Cardiovascular and Metabolic Risk. The journal also includes clinical practice recommendations which are periodically updated.
University of California, San Francisco Primary Care Clinical Practice Guidelines
This website includes clinical practice guidelines in primary care, with a range of information and links to many clinical guidelines related to diabetes care.
Better Diabetes Care
This section of the Better Diabetes Care website includes standards of medical care in diabetes; diagnosis and classification of diabetes; nutrition recommendations and interventions for Diabetes; diabetes Management in correctional institutions; and other resources.
