Committee Charge:
1. Coordinate the Academy's outreach to medical students, including medical student recruitment, FP student clubs, and CSAFM;
2. Coordinate the Academy’s activities with residents and residency programs, including resident membership recruitment, the annual Residency Conference, and RCAFP;
3. Ensure that workforce reform issues are accurately reflected in all CAFP’s medical student and residency programs/activities;
4. Participate in the Academy’s efforts to strengthen the presence of family medicine in all the state’s medical schools;
5. Develop a plan to secure stable sources of funding for resident and student education, coordinating that plan with the Medical Practice Affairs and Legislative Affairs committees and the CAFP Foundation; and,
6. Recommend appropriate programs for the Academy and/or the Foundation to improve the quality of family practice education and training.
